James Sikking would - I think - so let's pick this one...
Looking back, this Star Trek flick is not as good as the ones on either side of it - but it's still a fun adventure movie, with some prime moments for pretty much everyone in the cast. It was also the first of two directed by Leonard Nimoy.
This one resides in the video vault on Blu-Ray - and we could be helping look for that pesky Vulcan at any time, even this very evening - if you want to search for my place and come over!
Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Klingon, Cause I Am Outta Here!
Yep, incredible poster, one of my favourites. I like the film too, I was laid up with flu a few weeks ago and I manged to sqeeze in the first six Star Trek films and I think Search for Spock is a better film than is generally considered. No Wrath of Khan (or even The Voyage Home) but superior to The Final Frontier... On a vaguely related poster matter, I have a little A4 print-out of Escape From New York hanging on the wall of my office cube and I was looking at it earlier and wondering how those freaky New Yorkers moved the head of the Statue of Liberty from Ellis Island to the streets of Lower Manhattan... there's an idea for a prequel there...
ReplyDeleteI quite like it too - it just suffers a tiny bit from coming in between two of the best movies in the franchise. I like your thinking on that Escape from New York prequel! I think it involves an explosion - and that's where the head landed...
