Maniacal Movie Poster Monday #43!

Random!

Truck Stop Women  (Manson International Pictures, 1974)

The late great Claudia Jennings stars...and that's all I need to say.

Secret Agent Fireball  (American International, 1966)

Richard Harrison - the poor man's Roger Moore - playing at Bondage 7 years before Roger...

The Ice Pirates  (MGM/UA, 1984)

A very 80's movie - and the second movie I ever reviewed - with the piece appearing in my hometown newspaper!

Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!

  1. Truck Stop Women! Wow! Lovin' the Secret Agent Fireball poster. Retro cool. Never saw The Ice Pirates but I may have changed my mind if I'd read your review. LOL.

  2. Luana - yeah, Claudia Jennings made some pretty wild movies in the 70's before her untimely death. I'm not sure you would have seen Ice Pirates based on my review - back then I said it wavered too much between genres - too funny to be exciting and too exciting to be funny.

  3. I loved Ice Pirates. Robert Urich was THE man. I miss him at odd moments. I grew up watching and loving him and Gil Gerard. Buck Rogers and Dan Tanna. Oh yeah! LOL I'm a big weirdo.

  4. MB - those guys were awesome! I miss Robert Urich too - the guy (I think) holds the record for starring in most different TV projects. I'm going to put The Love Boat: The Next Wave out there as the weirdest. I would like to see Ice Pirates again now to see what I think...
