In place of the usual Video Vault of Mora Tau post, I am thrilled to announce that self-proclaimed International Film and Television Star Nick Searcy, currently of the F/X series Justified and many fine films like Fried Green Tomatoes and Cast Away has actually appeared in a very darkly lit video clip in which he speaks about this very blog.
Take it away, Nick!
You know, next time, maybe we can shoot that outside in daylight on a sunny day or something.
And until we do, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
I love this! What a coup for you, my friend. Hey, I am watching an old Reb Brown Captain America movie pilot right now. Not that that has anything to do with this post. I'm just saying. ;)
ReplyDeleteMelissa - I have known Nick for over 15 years now - we met on the short-lived but fondly remembered CBS series American Gothic when I used to chase his sorry butt around trying to get him to sign out when he was done acting. He came to town a couple of months ago to help his wife celebrate the 10th anniversary of a dance cooperative she helped found - and while signing charity photos after the dance recital I got him to say The Line. And I LOVE that you are watching Reb Brown as Captain America! Is it the one with Christopher Lee? Or the other one?
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool you worked on American Gothic and that you know Nick Searcy. He rocks! I loved that show and wished it had continued.
ReplyDeleteEnded up seeing both Captain America and Captain America II: Death Too Soon. I loved both of them. Reb was so apple pie all American and Lee was his dastardly self. SyFy ran both of them today. I had to watch, had to. Heather Menzies was in the first one. She wasn't singing or swimming from frenzied fish. :)
