Full Moon's 4th and 7X7 Link Award!

Okay, breaking in at the halfway point of the April 2012 A-Z Blogging Challenge with a non A-Z Forbidden Sunday Post - but this couldn't wait!

A very cool blog called Full Moon Reviews reached its 4th Anniversary this month, and gave out some awards to celebrate.

My Austrian blog buddy Maynard - guru of the awesome Horror Movie Diary - got one of the awards - congratulations Mr. Morrissey - and he has now passed the award on to me!

Much like Gremlins, this award comes with three rules:

1. Tell something that no one else knows about you.

I once sat in 70's drive-in filmmaker Earl Owensby's office in the 90's and pitched him a horror movie script - which he didn't go for.

2. Link to one of the posts that I personally think best fits the following categories

- Most Beautiful Piece:

My Halloween Horror Hotties edition featuring the most babe-a-licious horror series: Friday the 13th!

31 Days of Psychos!

- Most Helpful Piece

Matt Harding has a viral video out there called Where the Hell is Matt? and in a post from August 5th, 2011 - I answered that question - at least for July 27th, 2011...

I Know Where the Hell Matt Is!

- Most Popular/Least Popular Piece

My Set Invasion of Piranha 3-DD - which apparently scooped the web with the very first pictures from the set...10920 views!

Set Invasion: Piranha 3-DD!

The third edition of my weekly Maniacal Movie Poster Monday department has only been viewed 2 times, and no comments.

Maniacal Movie Poster Monday #3!

- Most Controversial Piece

My Set Invasion of Piranha 3-DD - which garnered me my first and only (and erased) negative comment from somebody who really hated that I had posted this stuff - and got madder at me as the comment went on.

Set Invasion: Piranha 3-DD!

- Most Surprisingly Successful Piece

My Police Academy overview from last April's A-Z Blogging Challenge is rivalling the Piranha 3-DD Set Invasion post - it now stands at 10,021 views!

April 2011 A-Z: P is for Police Academy!

- Most Underrated Piece

I think it's the lack of love for my review of the appalling Asian Women-in-Prison movie Tortured Angels...

Tortured Angels

- Most Pride-Worthy Piece

I am very proud of this revised version of my Vincent Price Spotlight post:

A Price Far Above Rubies!

3. Never Get Them Wet.

No, wait, that is a Gremlin rule.

3. Pass this award on to to 7 bloggers.

Luana at Skating Buffalo

Matty at Filmmatic

Kaijinu at Sticky Red: A Bodycount Compendium

James at Random Ramblings

Joe at Joseph W Richardson

Michelle at The Girl Who Loves Horror

Retro Zombie at Retro Zombie

Until next post, when A-Z is back in charge, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!

  1. Thanks for the award! One think no one knows about me -- I can play The Pineapple Rag on the piano.

  3. Oh wow, I am wicked jealous of your Piranha 3DD set invasion. I would love to be able to do that - but not officially, you know? I'd want to be like you and sneak around and steal pictures. Sounds like a lot more fun.

And thanks for the award! I'm kind of interested to see what my most popular posts are.

    1. Michele - thanks! Yeah, that was a completely unplanned turn of events that sent my pageviews through the roof when the page was leaked out to dreadcentral.com - then everybody linked to it - and my traffic went through the roof!

You're welcome - I'm a new visitor to your blog - but I'm already enjoying it a lot - and hope you're going to be in Project Terrible with us!
