Mass media musings and pop culture nonsense filtered through the brainpan of yours truly, with a special focus on the line of dialogue most used in film!
my favorites are the first and last... though the first is probably the best. I've never seen this one, so... another on the list!
Hope you enjoy it!
Craig, I'd say the last is the best, but they're all striking. The others leave me confused about the plot.
They do keep the spoilers to a minimum here...
I like the first one. Reminds of the opening scene in Sunset Blvd. Love the angle of the dead man floating in the pool. I also like the third one. The composition of the design is provoking and the tag line is intriguing. Great picks, Craig.
I like your Sunset Blvd comparison - and I agree. At that point SB would have been something like 13 years old - so it may have been on purpose. Good to have you back, Luana!
I like the first one Craig. I love this movie and have always felt it deserved a much bigger audience. Hopefully one day we'll get a nice proper DVD or blu-ray instead of that crappy MOD DVD with the old laser disc transfer that MGM currently offers. It's a cool little movie and Anne Francis is drop dead gorgeous here.
I agree with you down the line here, AB.
