He's been acting for 60 years - working with directors ranging from Roger Corman and Joe Dante to James Cameron and Martin Scorsese. Every time he turns up in a movie it gets better. He is one of very favorite actors of all time...
...he's That Guy Dick Miller...
...and he likes my blog!
Thank you Dick and Lainie Miller!
Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
Fantastic! I'm so used to seeing him in old films, that it's hard to imagine Walter Paisley gone grey with a scraggy beard. What a hero. I wonder how the documentary is coming along.
ReplyDeleteIt's completed - they had the trailer on a loop at their table - but they didn't screen it sadly. I contributed to it - I might be getting a copy one of these days.
DeleteAh excellent, I only became aware of the funding for it long after it finished. Glad it's complete, though, it's definitely something I will support with my wallet when it hits DVD.
DeleteThat's one of those guys I know by face, but not name. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteCongrats ! That has to be one of the coolest things in blogging history.
ReplyDeleteI was over the moon when he agreed to appear in the video!
DeleteHaha, he is definitely "that guy" who you see every once in a while but never learn his name. Now I know it!
ReplyDeleteGlad to be of service, ma'am!
DeleteOne of the coolest and most sympathetic actors of all time. Thanks Dante. Thanks Corman =)
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome watching Mr. and Mrs. Miller all weekend around the hotel - they are adorable together.
