Susanne Reed would if she knew we were wondering - so we're going to pick this one...
After the well deserved success of Piranha in 1978, Roger Corman wanted to try to repeat that bonanza - so he sent Charles Griffith - who'd written many scripts for him - to the Phillipines to make another "Jaws homage." This one is nowhere near the quality of Piranha, but it's still a mostly amusing 85 minutes, starring one of those pesky Bottoms boys (in this case, Sam) and with the Phillipines making a pretty good fake Hawaii.
I have this one on a double feature disk with another Filipino marine monster movie - Demon of Paradise - and we could be checking out either - or even better - both - at any time - even tonight, if you care to drop by my joint!
Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
