Maniacal Movie Poster Monday #238!

Well, here we are - and despite me saying no regular departments for a while - here's the next installment in a regular department. What can you do?

The Night Stalker (1986)

Here's a fun flick from the good ol' heyday of VHS movie rentals. Cop Charles Napier vs crazed baddie Robert Z'Dar. Add in support from actors like Gary Crosby (Bing's oldest) and you had an evening's entertainment in 1986. You might still if you could track it down somewhere.

The Flame Barrier (1952)

I haven't seen this one. It goes without saying that I would watch it given the chance.

Here's the one for this go-round. I've never even heard of it but wow - Stella Stevens is in it and it's directed by Michael Moore (no, I'm sure it's not THAT Michael Moore.)

I'm back!

At least, I THINK I am...

I've been enjoying my time away - watching a lot of movies and TV shows in the time I wasn't spending blogging - but I think I'm ready to get back in the saddle - but I need some new equipment. I've asked Santa Claus for a new laptop - I'm afraid my ancient desktop - running Vista if that tells you anything - is on its last legs. Even this post is being cobbled together on my wife's laptop.

But let's see if we can get a few posts going - I mean, you've surely missed the Celebrity Endorsement posts and I really have to get back to telling all of my film industry stories in the I Was a Teenage Production Assistant series of posts...I think we'll skip any regular weekly departments for now...

For now just a hello... more to come though -

If you've kept an eye out for my return - here it is - sorta - though I think I'll really get back in the swing of things after the holidays - and you have my heartiest thanks. I don't know exactly what all we're going to get up to with this second round of blogging - but hopefully you'll drop by to check it out with me...

Taking a break...

As has become obvious - I let the blog go dark since mid-November - I've been ill and just had my office invaded by an overnight guest for almost a week. It's made it easy to stop posting - and then my good blog buddy Maynard also put his incredible Horror Movie Diary blog on hiatus until next summer at least.

It sounded good. So I'm taking a few months off. Right now I plan to come back in Spring 2016. If you're a recent follower I apologize - but there are more than 1000 posts you can work your way through. And here's an offer - if someone wants to go back through every post and comment each and every one - my hiatus will end as soon as you finish commenting Saturday Night at the Movies 11/14/15.

Barring that - I'll see you all in a few months here - and probably sooner on your blog if you're still posting.
