Alf Humphreys does - every day and twice on Sunday. So for this Valentine's weekend - we just have to choose this one...
I've told the story of my affection for this film before. Suffice to repeat - it's a solid slasher flick - and my DVD is the restored cut - no pun intended - which features the original more graphic gore scenes hacked out of the picture thanks to the MPAA to secure the all-important R rating.
I know right where it is - so this one could truly be spinning in the player in seconds - if you want to be MY bloody valentine and come watch it with me - tonight, even!

I love both versions of this film. It is a classic slasher for sure. I watched The Thing From Another World, Sleepaway Camp and The Howling for V Day. A variety pack. LOL

DeleteI've never seen this movie Craig, but it is a classic. I heard the 2009 remake was terrible, but effective in it's use of 3D.
ReplyDeleteActually the 2009 remake was pretty darn good - one of the better horror remakes of the last ten years in fact. And yes, it was definitely effective 3-D!
