Saturday Night at the Movies 6/23/12!

Who cares what picture we see?

Well more than 300 times Roger Corman has, so we have to make this choice:

Anyone who's dropped by this blog a few times is probably aware of the esteem I hold for Roger Corman - called The King of Pop Cinema by one or two cable networks - a nickname I happen to quite like. Starting as a producer and director in the 1950's and still going strong as a producer almost 60 (!) years later - Roger Corman has lived a fascinating life and created an incredible career in film. All but two of those people listed on that poster owe their career to Roger Corman - and they're not the only ones!

I haven't seen this documentary yet - but I just added it to the video vault on a fine Blu-Ray and you could join me for the initial viewing - maybe even tonight - should you decide to come over for a visit!

Until next post, you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!

  1. Corman rocks! I would very much love to see this one day. Perhaps we can do a Corman fest one day. I'll bring the refreshments.
