Hey gang!
It has been a while, but I wanted to pop in and say hi - and mention that I'll have an article appearing in the March 2019 Scary Monsters magazine! It will be a heartfelt tribute to the late Jim Hendricks - who played "Commander USA" on the same-named network in the late 80's and into the 90's.

It's been a long while. I'm sorry if you actually have enjoyed the posts here. It's difficult to make the time as I used to - consequently I haven't for months. I do want to keep this blog alive though - so here is a new post for those still paying attention.

Saturday Night at the Movies 3/18/17!
Who cares what picture we see?
Jay Mohr, that's who. And that leads to this as tonight's choice...
This fun film got unfairly overshadowed for its release when Phil Hartman was murdered. They made some changes to the film itself and then it took a hit when people were just not ready to watch Hartman being funny in his last performance.
I skipped the movie in theaters but did catch up with it on home video - and thought it was another marvelous Joe Dante movie. I just scooped it up on DVD from the bargain bin and we could be giving it a watch at any time - even this very evening - if you'd like to come check it out with me.
