Maniacal Movie Poster Monday #115!
Mondo Mod (Boxoffice International Pictures, 1967)
I know this addition to the 60's "Mondo" genre limits itself to a trip down the Sunset Strip in the mid 60's, but that's about all I know about it. It is on DVD though, so I might see it one of these days!
Girls for Rent (Independent-International Pictures, 1974)
Like all Al Adamson movies, this played at many different times under several different titles. The best alternate titles is I Spit On Your Corpse. I haven't seen this one - but you can't go wrong with ex-porn stars acting in R rated Al Adamson movies. Can you?
The Blood Waters of Dr. Z (Barton Films, 1971)
Hmmmm, second week in a row where poster #3 is pretty damned cool - but the movie it promotes it is not nearly as good as the artwork. This was originally titled Zaat - and is a supremely goofy flick about a scientist who turns himself into a large walking catfish monster. Well, at least they can say it's unlike any other movie you've seen...
Thinking maybe a theme week next week - but there are other posts coming sooner that that, and until the next one you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
A can't say I've ever seen a movie with a killer catfish Craig. Nice posters indeed!
ReplyDeleteGreat posters, especially the last one. Who doesn't love clawed reptilian amphibian things crawling up out of the water?
