Saturday Night at the Movies! 7/2/11

Who cares what picture we see?

That rat buzzard the San Diego Chicken couldn't give a flying flip - but despite that I know what it has to be...

It somehow got thrown on to those ubiquitous and usually useless "Worst Movies Ever Made" lists that started popping up in the 80's - but in reality this is a very cute and clever comedy with humor in much the same vein as the ZAZ guys of Airplane! and Naked Gun! fame. It's not as good as those movies - it has some slow spots - but it consistently finds its way back on track and wraps up well. If you like goofy comedy and you've never seen it...well...

OH, LOOK, IT'S A SPECIAL DUSK TO DAWN SHOW TONIGHT!!!!

And here comes our second feature!

I really like this movie too - and if you look closely - you'll see that none other than George Clooney was involved back in his bill paying days!

Hmmmm...intermission...

And now on to feature number three!

Sadly, the film broke for the trailer, so we're getting poster only.

I haven't actually seen this one...yet....

Hmmm, it appears the the trailer for part 4 is gobbed up too...here, watch this cartoon while we see if we can get it fixed...

No, can't get the fourth feature's trailer spliced back together either. *sigh*  Poster only!

I haven't watched this one either...yet...

Yes, they're all real movies - and one Saturday morning show that managed two seasons twenty years ago. I do own all four movies (and would buy the series in a heartbeat if it would be released on DVD) so if you've got nothing better to do for about 6 -7 hours tonight, come on by and we can pop all four in, one right after the other.

And til next post you Can Poke Me With A Fork, Cause I Am Outta Here!
